Guillaume de Seynes
Executive Vice-President Manufacturing Division and Equity Investments
Born in 1957, Guillaume de Seynes is a great-grandson of Émile Hermès (1871-1951) and a sixth-generation member of the Hermès family. A graduate of Essec Business School, he started his career with Lacoste before moving to Champagne Mumm, and then Champagne Henriot where he was appointed commercial director.
He joined Hermès in 1997 as international sales and marketing director of La Montre Hermès SA in Bienne, Switzerland, before becoming its managing director in 1999. In 2005 he joined Hermès’ executive committee, and in 2006 was appointed executive vice-president of Hermès International, then in 2011 executive vice-president of the group’s manufacturing division and equity investments.
Between 2016 and 2022 he was also president of the Comité Colbert.
The Executive Committee
Hermès International’s executive management is comprised of the Executive Chairmen and the Executive Committee, which consists of Managing Directors, each of whom has well-defined areas of responsibility. Its role is to oversee the Group’s strategic management.
